This week we were tasked with following 10 more scientist and organizations that would be helpful for our research and how to curate our feed to help us get more information about our topics. One of the accounts I followed is called the Brown Dog Lab, they post a lot of cool facts and research studies if you’re interested in dog specific research go ahead and follow them @ browndoglab! Looking at my classmates posts, I learned a lot about dogs emotional intelligence and how they are able to sense things about the emotional state of their human companions. I also was able to learn why dogs have such emotional reactions such as the release of oxytocin! It was interesting to see how many people are interested in the science behind our emotional relationships with dogs and how that relates to their own psychology. This overlaps with what I was able to learn from ChatGPT and how dogs are complex and intelligent creatures that are able to pick up on signals that humans turn a blind eye to, its why they are mans best friend. This weeks experience with twitter illuminated how much there is to know about how dogs learn about the world around them.

It's so fascinating that dogs release oxytocin like us! Could you tell me more about some other examples of a dog's emotional intelligence?
